By accessing and using Learn BST (learn.birdsittingtoronto.ca), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This platform is operated by Bird Sitting Toronto. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Learn BST is a free educational platform providing parrot and bird care content including articles, courses, quizzes, and an AI-powered chat assistant (Polly). All educational content is provided free of charge.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features such as courses, progress tracking, and certificates, you may create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Educational Content Disclaimer

All content on Learn BST is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified avian veterinarian with any questions regarding your bird's health.

The AI chat assistant (Polly) provides general guidance and is not a substitute for professional avian veterinary care. In any emergency, contact your avian veterinarian immediately.

5. Certificates

Certificates earned through Learn BST courses indicate completion of our educational material. They are issued by Bird Sitting Toronto and represent knowledge of the course content. They are not professional certifications or licenses and should not be represented as such.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Learn BST, including articles, course materials, quizzes, images, and design, is the property of Bird Sitting Toronto and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data in bulk without permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

8. Limitation of Liability

Learn BST and Bird Sitting Toronto shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
